Swarnalatha Devarapu STEM scholarship
Technological scholarship
As stated in the Foundation's Statutes, we promote the training and access of women to STEM careers. For example, in Spain only 16% of STEM professionals are women and very few teenage girls, 0.7%, are interested in studying a degree related to digital technologies compared to 7% of men.
Swarnalatha, an Indian national from a highly underprivileged background, is supported by our scholarship, which covers her tuition, accommodation, and living expenses, as well as medical care and medicines, should they be necessary.
She is the first student to have completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering thanks to this scholarship. Currently, we continue to support her through her postgraduate master’s program. Furthermore, in the coming months, she will join the Gransolar Group’s offices in India as an intern.
